Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Razur is a booking platform built for barbershops in Trinidad & Tobago. Each shop ("tenant") gets its own page for customers to book appointments, and an admin dashboard to manage them. Razur is the platform itself; each shop is independently responsible for the services it provides to its own customers.
2. Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you use Razur:
- Shop owners: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, business address, and any other business details you add to your shop's page (services, hours, photos, social links).
- Customers booking an appointment: your name, phone number, the service and time you selected, and any optional notes you leave for the shop.
- Reviews: the name, rating, and comment you submit.
- Push notifications (shop owners only): if you enable notifications on your device, we store the technical subscription details needed to deliver them (endpoint and encryption keys) — this only applies to shop admins, not customers.
- Basic technical data: sign-in session identifiers and, for admin accounts, a general device/browser label — used only to keep you signed in and to let you recognize your own active sessions.
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels anywhere on Razur. We never collect payment card numbers or banking credentials — Razur does not process any payments; shops arrange payment with their own customers directly (cash, card in person, etc.), and shops pay Razur via cash or direct bank transfer.
3. How we use it
- To operate the booking system: creating, confirming, and managing appointments.
- To send booking confirmations and reminders (via WhatsApp, where a number is provided, and push notifications to shop admins).
- To let a shop see and manage its own customers, bookings, and reviews.
- To respond when you contact us for support.
- To keep the platform secure and working as intended.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who can see your data
Each shop's data is kept separate — a shop can only see its own bookings, customers, and reviews, never another shop's. Within Razur, access is limited to what's needed to operate and support the platform.
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run Razur, who process data on our behalf under their own security commitments:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage, and network security. Cloudflare operates a global network, so data may be processed in locations outside Trinidad & Tobago.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in codes and transactional emails.
We don't share personal data with anyone else, except where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as a shop's account is active, so booking history, clients, and reviews stay available to the shop. If a shop closes its account, we delete its data within a reasonable period afterward, unless we're required to keep something longer for legal or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete specific data sooner — see Section 7.
6. Security
Sign-in uses one-time email codes rather than passwords, so there's no password to be stolen or reused elsewhere. All traffic to Razur is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to each shop's data is restricted to that shop's authenticated session.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.
7. Your rights and choices
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data, subject to what we need to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Reach out to support@razur.app and we'll handle it directly — most requests, we can complete in a few days.
Trinidad & Tobago's Data Protection Act, 2011 has not yet been brought fully into force, so many of its individual-rights provisions aren't yet formally enforceable by law. We're choosing to honor requests like these as a matter of policy regardless.
8. Children
Razur isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 18. Shops do offer haircut services for kids — in that case, it's the parent or guardian who makes and manages the booking, and their contact details (not the child's) are what gets stored.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Razur after a change means you accept the updated policy.
